Integration
Whether running on a website or within a more complex chain of applications, AFS is extremely easy to integrate because it is packaged as a Web service that can be interrogated with the most common protocols: HTTP (in GET or POST) or XML-RPC.
User queries can be either directly transmitted to AFS, or passed through an intermediate application (web portal, business-specific application), which will collect the results and can then process them as necessary.
Results display is fully configurable:
- native XML results stream
- Support for multiple XSL and CSS styles for a customized graphical integration in HTML or xHTML
- easy integration with Flash or AJAX interfaces
- quick and easy implementation using a kit of ready to use widgets
