Developer Training (2 days)

Subjects covered:

• issues and challenges for a search solution, user expectations, functionalities
• principles and operation of the AFS solution, conceptual and software architecture
• indexing of structured and unstructured data
• calling the search engine and utilizing the results stream
• presentation of the back office.

Learning objectives: understanding the issues related to information search, productivity, reducing project risks related to integration.

Expert Training (3 days):

Subjects covered:

• issues and challenges for a search solution, user expectations, functionalities
• principles and operation of the AFS solution, conceptual and software architecture
• data capture, formatting and processing
• indexing of structured and unstructured data
• comprehensive implementation of a search service
• calling the search engine and utilizing the results stream
• presentation of the back office.

Learning objectives: understanding the issues related to state-of-the-art information search, full control and self-reliance during elaboration of an AFS project, in-depth understanding of the product.

AFS System Administrator Training (2 days)

Subjects covered:

• principles and functioning of the AFS solution
• conceptual and software architecture, software components
• selecting and dimensioning an architecture (redundancy, clustering, virtualization, etc.)
• installation and configuration, managing the indexing process
• startup/shutdown/monitoring of AFS, diagnosing and resolving level 1 problems.

Learning objectives: mastering day-to-day operations, ensuring level 1 support.

Configuring the Natural Language module (2 days):

• principles and functioning
• writing analysis rules, verifying and updating rules
• configuring and using test scenarios
• integration.
